I finally have all my rows together and this weekend I hope to get the top done :0) |
The beach keeps calling me away from my sewing machine! |
texture in the sand from wind and water. |
Even cloudy days are beautiful on the beach |
Like freshly fallen snow with.no foot prints, pristine wind blown sand. Happy Sewing, Kim |
You are making great progress. I'd rather be at a beach too. Quilting can wait.
ReplyDeleteWinter is my favorite time of year to be at the beach. Love your pictures!
ReplyDeleteI grew up in the Hamptons on New York's Long Island. I live in the mountains now but the beach will always be home. Thanks for the pictures- I miss it so much! Nothing like the ocean!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Both the quilt and the beach!
ReplyDeleteKim, your mystery blocks are great! But I agree that I'd opt for the beach whenever possible. I grew up on Long Island (NY) and used to love to drive down to Jones Beach in the winter-- although it doesn't look like you have any snow there. The beach is a magical place!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLove the beach pictures, but your Bonnie Hunter blocks made me smile. I have all my blocks sewn, and just completed the setting triangles. Hopefully these will be assembled in February. I'll be watching for your share ~ Pokey
ReplyDeleteAllietare is gorgeous. The sand designs give great quilting inspiration.
