More Peonies
We are headed for some really hot days coming up this week so I quick took some pictures of the peonies before they get fried. Sadly, I believe this is the last of the blooms until next year.

Ami looking to Bloggers for help
Kim's donation quilt to Ami |
made with scraps and salvage for Ami. |
Ami Simms is a dynamo for Alzheimers! She works tirelessly for research dollars for this group. Maybe you can help by buying one of the quilts at her site and giving it as a gift this summer for a wedding or graduation gift. It would be a lasting piece of art the recipient would treasure not only as a gift from you but also as helping this great organization. Happy Sewing, Kim

Roll roll cotton Boll
Finally these tops are done and off to Debby Brown to be quilted!
The first one is in a purple colorway and the second in pink. I also wanted to show you some of the scrappy fabric that went into these quilts. This is the last mystery quilt Bonnie Hunter did on her blog.....I'm already thinking about her the next one :0)
Update: Bonnie let me know this evening that the pattern will be pulled from her blog June 1st. After that you'll have to wait to get the pattern in her future book.
Well now that is something fun to look forward to :0) A new Bonnie Hunter book!

Happy Birthday Carol
Good Friday my DH and I drove up to NH to surprise my dear friend Carol for her 60th Birthday! We surprised her at her desk at work then whisked her off to a great seafood dinner.
Saturday morning I presented her with one of my favorite Bonnie Hunter patterns " Jared takes a wife".
She was thrilled and we had the best time with her family and friends celebrating a new milestone.
We have been newlyweds, moms and now grandmothers together.........life is good :0)
