purple colorway |
pink colorway |
The first one is in a purple colorway and the second in pink. I also wanted to show you some of the scrappy fabric that went into these quilts. This is the last mystery quilt Bonnie Hunter did on her blog.....I'm already thinking about her the next one :0)
Update: Bonnie let me know this evening that the pattern will be pulled from her blog June 1st. After that you'll have to wait to get the pattern in her future book.
Well now that is something fun to look forward to :0) A new Bonnie Hunter book!
Happy Sewing,
Kim

Great Blocks! Very striking.
I did mine in pink and it is waiting for me to get around to quilting it. I saw a lot of neat quilts from that mystery, yours are just beautiful! cw
oh my goodness! TWO??? I was tired just thinking about ONE! They are so pretty! GREAT job.
Oooh, congratulations for completing two. All I can think of it how many pieces just one contains. Great job!
I think you did a fabulous job and love your choice of colors and the contrast between the two blocks! Also, seeing the two quilts (great borders)shows just how different a block can look depending on your color choices. Thanks for sharing.
- Mary, who loves all things scrappy!
These tops are stunning! Such cute little details!
Yours came out terrific!! I just quilted the same quilt... well not yours... but for a customer from PA. She did it in purples and creams as well and it was just gorgeous! I just mailed it back to her today. She was giving it as a wedding gift to her daughter for a wedding gift. I love your pink colorway, it almost looks like Christmas.
I can't believe you made two quilts but they are both beautiful. Is your quilter going to quilt them the same?
TWO I AM IMPRESSED! I need to go print that out

Proof once again how the humble scrap can be turned into a masterpiece quilt. Thanks for sharing!
love it. your fabrics are fun. And I know you are glad it is finished. I know I was. It was lots of hard work, but well worth it.
Both are beautiful quilts! I like all of those light gray/white scraps and the cute little characters peaking out here and there.
Both are great! I couldn't imagine tackling one of those...so, what do you do with your spare time, Kim?
