White in the corner block |

Or red in the corner block? |
Which layout should I use, I can't decide. What do you think? These blocks are 10.5 inches unfinished and will make a little table topper to commemorate " Infinite Variety Three Centuries of Red and White Quilts". I'm trying to have it finished before the March anniversary comes around.
Happy Sewing, Kim
P.S.
I learned how to make this block from
Tonya :0) , she has a super easy tutorial on her blog.

I like the look of white in the corners. It looks more lighter and more Spring-like. If I were making it for Christmas I would choose the red corners.
Red in the corner looks bolder. - Barbara in GA
I like the red in the corners.
I would probaly use the one with more red - it adds a little more "weight" to the piece. Sure is pretty!
Since this is a commemoration of "Infinite Variety Three Centuries of Red and White Quilts", I would definitely go with white in the corners. If you remembered, there was always more white than red, that is what made them so striking.
Oh wow I love that block big! And I like the white in the corners, it reminds me of drawing on white paper.
That project to the right looks good too!
red in the corners more bold and graphic and isn't that what the exhibit was all about!
Love these blocks!

I really like the red in the corners.
I like the lower one. But what about that X and + quilt on the wall. Whoo-hoo!
I like the red in the corners too. Very striking!
Definitely the red in the corners. Thanks for asking;-D Doreen in MN
As many opinions as viewers, lol Which are you leaning toward? What I see instead of red in the corners is red in the center! I never like white for the center of a table runner for fear of it getting soiled. Either way, It will be lovely!
:-}pokey
I really like the red in the corners! Pretty design!
I like the red corners, but hey, it's your quilt, what do you love? :)
I like the red in the corners... more noticeable, and seems more structure and stability. Guess there are reasons for either... in the end you will have to decide. It's your quilt!
Hugs!
Hey Kim, Have you decided yet? My vote is for red in the corners, but I also think that if you use a red binding you might be able to use white in the corners.
I tried to comment back in January but couldn't get past the verification. Ed says he's changed some settings so I'm hoping this will work.
No luck, I'll try signing with a name instead of an openID.
