WIP Wednesday even though I am working away on kitting up these blocks to take with me when I travel. Here's what I do, cut out the fabrics , prepare them for applique and put them all in Ziplocks. Now when I have to wait at an airport, or while sitting in a plane, train or car I can stitch my

I love having projects like this that can be pulled out and worked on any time there are a spare few minutes. Nice to have gotten all of that prep work done.
Good idea! I usually take a little crocheting. It's easier on the eyes. :)

I opted to do all the applique by machine on JT2, but I'm kitting up applique blocks for Joy of Life right now for my travels at Christmas. Spending a week with my Dad in AZ so there's plenty of time in the evenings to stitch (as well as the airports/airplanes). Us quilters, always thinking how we can keep our hands busy!
