Blue and Yellow

I'm off to Victoria's  for a quilting retreat......its gonna be so fun!  I'm going to be surrounded by talented quilters
all sewing together for the weekend.

I am a bit addicted to yellow and blue quilts and here is another one I just finished made from scraps, shirts and fat quarters. The beautiful quilting is done by Debby Brown.   This pattern is called Shakespeare in the Park designed by Judy Martin from her book " The Creative Pattern Book".
Happy sewing, Kim

Roll roll cotton Boll Step # 3

Step # 3 is coming along.
Bonnie has us pulling "neutral" fabric scraps from everywhere.....I've got shirts, pieces of quilt back trimmings, cut up uglies, and scraps from Debby Brown's sewing room.......Wheeeee what fun!
Now since I am making two RRCB I only have 120 of these 8.5 string blocks to make......okay back to my machine .
Happy sewing!

"Pick and choose"

I feel like I stitched forever on this binding but it is finally done. I really do like scrappy quilts and this one has everything from directions on preprinted panels to repurposed shirts and jammies.  Happy Sewing :0)
