Living by the sea

We are just 4 miles from this beach now that we have moved south.

Sand dunes and beach grasses

The  night of the full moon we had a sunset walk on the beach, first the pink and turquoise sunset
then the full moon rose out of the sea a bright glowing red!  I am sorry I did not have have my camera with me it was a breath taking sight.

Everybody out of the box :0)

We're here!   I sure could use some help setting up this new sewing room.
I hope to get my sewing machine out of the box today and at least start doing some sewing in the next few days.

Happy Easter  and Happy Sewing,
Kim

Spring is in the air

The first day of daylight savings time and only 10 days away from the first day of Spring!

We are having a few signs of Spring and the birds are definitely staking out there
territories to get their families started.

snow drops in bud

I bet they bloom this week

Daffodils pushing up through the snow

Here is a picture of my DH 40 years ago with his professor, Joe Rosson, taking the electric car project for a spin around the campus of Cornell.
