Do you ever jump from project to project doing a little bit here and a little bit there?
I'm doing that now and finding it relaxing except when I made this block and it is
1/4 of an inch off............now I have to figure out what I did wrong and correct it.

I think I'm done making these zigzag  blocks, I now have 7 by 5 blocks
and will put a border on it and call the top done :0)  it sure has been fun.

I'm embarrassed to say the label is still going on this wedding gift quilt, their 1st anniversary is coming up in Sept.!  I am going to make myself finish it today!

The Cradle Project

Last week when I was visiting Washington DC I happened on this show.

There were several cradles from the traveling show on display.  All the cradles are made from found objects!

Even if you don't get to see the cradles you can log onto www.firelightfoundation.org to learn more about this effort to help children with AIDS.

Temecula Quilt Co.

Now you know  I love a good sew along and  Temecula Quilt Company is having another short sew along for free on their blog.  This will be my third sew along with Temecula and I have to say working with these small blocks to make a little quilt is delightful.  It is just the first block so come on and join in on the fun!  Happy sewing, Kim
