Inspiration from the "Silly boodilly"

http://thesillyboodilly.blogspot.com/2010/09/having-fun.html

Victoria over at the Sillboodilly" is so talented, I look at her blog a few times a week and
see all the wonderful things she has made.  Some of her recent work has really caught my eye
and I decided I would take her inspiration and make a gift for my girlfriend.  Here is what I made
but you really must see Victoria's fine work and if you are lucky enough you can buy one of her
art pieces from her etsy shop.  Happy Sewing.

Hey Dawn,

Yes those are plaid strips and stripe strips on the fabric not pieced.
If you look at Victoria's post she does some great close up shots of the strips......her idea that inspired me was to make it look woven and I think it does.
But doesn't Victoria have a terrific color sense.....love her stuff!

Happy Sewing, Kim
