Quilt guild challenge

SCRAPS
So the challenge was: reach into a scrap bag with your eyes close pull out three fabrics and
use a given ugly pink and brown plaid fatquarter.  Now make one of your favorite things
in a maximum 14 X 15 inch, minimum 12inch  square quilt.  My fabrics were  black, bright yellow and a pale blue green combo.  I pieced these into a small offset log cabin block then raw edged
the black eyed susans  flowers on top....14 inch square.  Lastly I put a few dots of gold paint
in the center of the black circles, did some thread painting and called it done.   Happy Sewing, Kim

All your talent shows in this challenge, Kim! You have made a wonderful piece of art from something most of us would have thrown our hands up over. Great job ~
