Another Bonnie Hunter Pattern

Bonnie Hunter calls this pattern " Jarred takes a wife", but I may call it something else.  I started with a plaid shirt as inspiration and cut all the center squares with that fabric......the rest is all from scraps and stash.
The purple I used between the blocks was purchased on a shopping trip when I was pregnant with my daughter.......she'll be 30 in Jan. !  I wonder if I'll ever use all my stash up?

Love the quilt - nice and fresh - just like spring! Also love what you did in the border!

I really like the color combination. Also the border treatment, I like when quilters do their own thing, plain borders are so boring.

Just beautiful Kim. I got one of her books for Christmas but haven't had a chance to play yet.

I haven't held (to look real close at) one of Bonnie's books, but the LQS has one on order for me. Her stuff is great from her blog, and I am working (not really, it's a ufo for sure!) on a spiderweb from her tutorial.
This one is really neat, Kim! Your star really shows up nice, and your border adds interest. Nice colors, and love the history behind the fabric. Is this a recent finish? You are on a roll, girlfriend!

Well you saved that purple fabric for the perfect quilt, I love it! Wonderful job, especially that little sumpin' sumpin' extra in the border!

Whooooooohooooo!! It looks GREAT!!! And you can name it whatever you want :c) It's "blackford's beauty" as far as the block name, but I made it for my choir director Jared when he got married :c)

I love the quilt. Your stash will never disappear. trust me. I just started one of Bonnie's quilts tonight. At least the one she mentioned a couple of days ago from Quiltmaker.

I adore that you used scraps and stash for this... so gorgeous! The plaid shirt material seems extra appropriate based on the quilt patterns name, (I imagine Jared's wife as being very resourceful and thrifty, knowing just what to do with Jared's worn or outgrown shirt!) Also, those added blocks in the boarder are super!

Great quilt Kim. A lot of piecing there, but it worth it at the end.
