A new quilt is started

I just joined a new Yahoo group that is a spin off from Stashbusters called
SITP....."Shakespeare in the Park"..it takes this complex pattern
and breaks it down into doable sections.
Linda is leading us and this is where we are so far :0).

Now to catch up on those Bunny Hill blocks because the Oct.
block is out and I still August and Sept. to finish........ Happy Sewing :0)

Wow! Those are beauties! Love that paisley, I think I have it in a different colour!

Those are great. I like the paisley too. I think I have the same one as well in soft reds and cream. I've given up on the bunny hill blocks cause I lost my first few somewhere. Glad to see someone is finishing them.

Your stars are beautiful -- good luck with the pattern -- I've seen a couple and they were gorgeous quilts.

I made this quilt. If you like to see the finished pieced version, just go to this link:

I have it quilted but need to apply the binding.

I see you are using templates. I've never used those before. Do you like them? Or would you prefer basic strip cutting?

I have made two of these quilts when her book first came out. One is blue/cream for daughter#1 and one in lavender/cream for daughter#2. Loved the pattern even though there were lots of steps. Kinda like Bonnie Hunter's quilts. These were good workouts to expand piecing skills.
