Lori has started a new sew along over at Humble Quilts This quilt is her blog header so jump over and look at how adorable these blocks are in a quilt! Come on, try one you know you want to :0)
Happy Sewing, Kim
The beginning of the block on the Lori's sew along. I used this brown plaid as a border since it was lying on my sew table from the Halloween quilt I just sent to my granddaughter.
Lemoyne Star for the center?? Who's the over-achiever here, Kim??? VBG Very nice. I love that quilt and plan to make one next year for sure. Your block looks awesome.
I love your block. I just got around to checking out my favorite blogs yesterday and loved what Lori is hosting. I got my first round done and will post a picture this weekend. Hugs
You always inspire me, dear friend! I'm bookmarking this project, maybe I can bite it off in little pieces. Oh, the boo quilt and Lily's birthday quilt are both fun to look at, also. MmMmmm, eye-candy, so yummy and non-fattening ~ hugs, pokey
LOL.. I love that sentence. "I used this for the border because it was lying on the table..." I choose fabrics the same way! I love how they always seem to work so beautifully, too. Who needs to waste time thinking? Just grab what's there! (Yours is a perfect example of a beautiful result.)
