State of Emergency

light snow with about 1/2 inch of ice under it

ice encrusted car

iced palm trees

Living in a town with no snow removal equipment means telling everyone to stay off the roads
then declare a state of emergency to enforce it!

Oh my goodness Kim -- where are you ? So sorry that all your beautiful foliage is frozen -- hope it does not do permanent damage. BTW: I didn't comment on it when you posted but your JT2 block you just finished is beautiful! Love that applique. Stay warm now. Karen

Aren't you glad you left Poughkeepsie?? Who would've thought you'd get snow in your new home?? Stay warm and safe!

Same here in South Alabama: state of emergency for the whole state, closed roads, schools and businesses. Since we don't know how to drive on ice and snow, we are glad to be homebound.

stay inside and sew and stay safe! I can't believe the images on the TV coming from Atlanta and other southern states!
