The Farmer's Wife by Laurie Aaron Hird |
I've learned that I am much more likely to get through a project if I sew with a group. I can't decide if it is because I enjoy the company or if I am competitive. Either way, I was delighted when
Bonnie Hunter pointed out that
Randy D. was having a "sow along" ( farmers wife... get it?), using Laurie Aaron Hird's book " T
he Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt".
As wonderful as this book is there are no measurements to follow only the templates that get printed from the CD included in the book. Randy has taken the templates and gives all the measurements :0)! I also love using my
Marti Michell templates, so now that I know the size of the pieces I can easily make the blocks. Could I have figured this out myself? Of course, but now I have a group to sew with!
Want to join in? Randy is making it real easy with just 3 blocks twice a month.
Happy Sewing, Kim
