Barbara and I met in Alabama at a quilting retreat lead by two ladies from Gee Bend's where we sewed away at beautiful Camp McDowell.
When we discovered we both wanted to go to Gwen's Beaver Island retreat we matched up our dates so we could quilt together again, it was wonderful to arrive and have Barb's smiling face ready to greet me. Barb is an enthusiastic new quilter with a great color sense, this medallion just got better and better. Happy Sewing, Kim
Oh just for fun I'm gonna show off Barb's quilt over at

so fun! I'm totally jealous - I'm glad you go to attend!!
See I made my way to your blog. Feel like a celebrity :0 Now to finish my quilt to bring along next year.
It's fun to see Barb's smiling face!
Think that Gee's Bend medallion needs some additional borders tho I like it the way it is.
I thought you and Barb were friends for many years!!
